With the season finished it was time for some fun , and what better way than to take part in a tournament . The girls all headed down to Kewford Tournament which is just outside Kingswinford . The sun was shining and the atmosphere within the grounds was buzzing .

There were mixed age group competitions and also boys and girls teams all competing for the Trophies . The girls were up against 6 other teams and they all played in 6 games to determine which teams would then go forward to the semi finals and then the 2 winning teams at the end of this would then play in the Final .

GAME 1 : SCA v Halas B (6-1) Goal scorers:Shannon(1),Lauren (1),Nikki(2), Amber(2)

Game 2 :SCA v Halas A (2-0) Goal scorers: Shannon and Kelly both scoring 1

Game 3 :Gornal B v SCA (1-1) Goal scorers : Kelly(1)

Game 4 :Gornal A v SCA (0-5) Goal scorers :Nikki(2) , Sara , Shannon and Kelly all scoring 1 

Game 5 : Leamington A v SCA (0-5) Goal scorers :Sara(2) , Nikki , Katie and Kelly all scoring 1

Game 6 : Leamington B v SCA (0-2) Goal scorers : Sara and Rosie both scoring 1

With the illimination process now complete it was just the waiting game of who had made it through to the Semi finals . We had a good chance after only conceeding 2 goals and winning all games apart from one which ended in a draw . The results was in and the girls had done enough to seal a place into the Semi Finals against Halas .

Semi Final : Halas v SCA (0-5) Goal scorers :Kelly (2) ,Nikki(2) Katie(1)

With the semi final won the girls waited and watched to see who they would be up against in the finals . With Gornal and Leamington going to penalties to confirm who would make it through . Leamington were the winners and secured their place in the Final .

The Final was held on the pitch in front of the stands and the crowds all made their way over to get a glimpse of who would be crowned the Winners . The atmosphere in the stands was very upbeat and both teams had great support .

Final :Leamington v SCA (0-4) This was a really good game and all the girls played really well in the 11 minutes they had to play .  Goal scorers were Rosie (2) , Katie (1) and Sara (1) .

The girls were all really pleased and were all awarded with a medal and the Trophy by the special guest of the day , Major of Dudley .

It was well worth the early start and a lovely day was had by not only the girls but the parents too . WELL DONE girls .
